MOSCOW, Feb 6 (PRIME) -- CP Foods, a division of Thai conglomerate Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group), plans to buy Russia’s Ostankino meat processing plant, Kommersant business daily reported Monday citing sources.

Musheg Mamikonyan, president of Meat Council at the Eurasian Economic Space has estimated the plant at around U.S. $150 million or even higher.

A source close to the plant said no certain agreements had been reached yet. CP Foods and the meat plant declined to comment.

CP Group currently operates pig complexes in the Moscow, Kaluga, and Kursk regions. In 2015, the group also bought two poultry farms in the Leningrad Region.
